Zumbatomic®, otherwise known as Zumba® for kids, will now be offered in Woodstock at The Woodstock School of Ballet!

What is it?

WSB Zumbatomic Summer

Zumbatomic® classes are dance fitness classes for children ages 4-12. They learn and dance to rhythms like salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton, hip-hop, etc., as well as get a workout and play fun games! I break down the moves and they receive instructional time. Teaching Zumbatomic® requires a specialty certification, which I have, and is not offered anywhere in Woodstock until now!

I have been teaching Zumbatomic® for the last two years at places, such as, Rome Civic Ballet, DanceFit, and the Montessori School of Rome, where I currently teach 27 kids, all repeat customers for the third time! Parents have been very satisfied and their children LOVE it!!!

Summer classes will be Thursday nights at 6:30pm for 7 weeks, June 6th-July 25th. The cost is $95. My current Zumba® students will receive a 15% discount!

If you are interested, you can register by printing out the form and turning it in to the me or the dance studio. Forms will also be available at the dance studio. Please share the attached flyer with your friends! Kids always love having their friends in the class!!

WHY ZUMBA ???

In case you really need a reason other than it’s the most FUN you will ever have in an hour working out…a Zumba class also has science behind it that’s proven to work! How else is it still dominating the fitness world? Here are several, to name a few!!!

Improved Cardio Vascular Fitness
Increased speed
Higher Caloric burn in shorter time duration (800-1000 calories per class!)
Ability to break through training plateaus
Expand workout options (having cardio, fitness, and strength training moves in the same class)
Increased use of fat as fuel

ANNOUNCEMENT

Your favorite night of the week is almost here!! Join us for class Wednesday nights at 7:30pm at the Woodstock School of Ballet! If you didn’t make it last week, you missed my exciting announcement…

Any of my Zumba participants want to take it to
the performance level?  Well, I have the opportunity for you!  We will be
showcased in the annual recital on June 8th in the 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm shows!!
All who want to be in this piece are invited!!!  One thing I promise…YOU WILL
HAVE FUN!  If you come to class, you already know the dances.  The performance
piece will be an arrangement of several of our different and favorite rhythms.
Costuming will be simple.  There may be a few rehearsals involved, but NO EXTRA
COST!  This is a free opportunity for you as my participant!

One thing I will need—I’ll need you to “commit” and let me know that you are participating, that’s all! Let me know through e-mail or in person by the end of April!!!

See you in class tonight! Don’t forget to bring a water bottle AND a friend! Glitter and bright colors always welcome :-).

I hope you’re as excited as I am…tonight, we get to do our favorite thing, while glowing!  It’s gonna be AmAZiNg!!!!!!!!!!
 
So, here are a few details…
 
1) Class is at 7pm tonight at The Dance and Music Academy of Woodstock.  Also, mark your calendars for the next Black Light Party…November 2nd! 
 
2) What to wear???  Wear whites and neons if you want to see yourself and glow when the lights go out!  Feel free to bring/wear glow bracelets and necklaces!!!!
 
3) Cost is $10 and you can bring a friend for $5…Men are free.  If you have a child that wants to participate, cost also is $5.  (Class cards do not apply to this event.)
 
4) There will be a drawing for a FREE 10 Class Card!!!!!

First Fridays Black Light Zumba Party!!!

First Fridays of Every Month Black Light Zumba Party

You wanted another night to dance…well, here it is! We are going to glitter and glow the FIRST FRIDAY of every month at the Dance and Music Academy of Woodstock while doing your favorite ZuMBa dances in black lights!!! Check out the flyer, share it with your friends, hang it in your office, etc…

This is a great opportunity to bring your friends who want to try a class and may feel more comfortable with the lights out :-)! Our first Black Light Party is fRIDAY, October 5th at 7pm so mark your calendar and make your plans accordingly…IT’S GONNA BE FUN!!!!!!!!

Dance and Music Academy is closed this week for Fall Break, but YES we still have Zumba classes both nights, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7pm!  Thank you to everyone who “JUST SHOWS UP” every week and brings there energy and smiles!  I am so thankful to be able to have such wonderful, fun classes with each of you!!!!

 

*****Please do me a huge favor…Since y’all are coming to class and loving it, I am considering adding another Zumba Class on the schedule.  However, I would be grateful for your input as to what day of the week and time you would like?  Mornings, Earlier Evenings, Later Evenings, etc…So, if you were to come to another Zumba class, when would you like it to be?  Just respond to this e-mail with your suggestions and I will be grateful!******
